PESCARA. The day after he ended up under house arrest, he escaped and was found wandering around the city as if nothing had happened.
For this reason, yesterday morning, the 22-year-old who had attempted a burglary in a house in San Silvestro a few days ago, was arrested by the men of the Flying Squad, coordinated by Pierpaolo Varrasso: the young man of African origins, but a resident of the city for years, was charged with the crime of evasion. And a complaint was also filed for possession of burglary tools.
Because yesterday morning, the 22-year-old was out and about on the Tiburtina and had several screwdrivers in his pocket, tools that he would have used to try to commit other crimes during his unauthorized outing.
The officers, during the usual control and prevention service on the streets of the city, immediately recognized him, remembering that he was under a restrictive measure.
After identifying him, they had confirmation of their suspicions: the young thief, caught in the Colle Pizzuto area a few days ago while trying to escape by climbing down from the balcony of a house (an accomplice of his had managed to escape before the arrival of the officers by climbing over the walls of the house they were trying to enter to commit their theft), was already under the precautionary measure of house arrest, but had gone out without too many problems and flouting the law. Yesterday, however, things went badly for him too: he was arrested and all the material he had with him was seized. (o. d.a.)
