PORDENONE. Is called “Pordenone Project” the initiative of theAstro Aps cultural associationwhich involved dozens of young people, as well as associations, bodies, cultural entities and schools in the area, with the contribution of important local sponsors and the support of the Municipality’s Youth Policy office.

A subject edited and directed by Jimmy Baratta (Associazione Astro) which will be screened on Thursday 27 June, at 7pm, at the venue Experimental school of the actorin via Selvatico 26.

The protagonist of the seven short films is the city of Pordenone, the common thread is a detective story, and each episode describes a part of the story, like a seven-episode TV series. The shorts also want to tell, with the original music by Lorenzo Tomadon, the great changes that have affected the city in the last twenty years. The 2024 edition of the Maravee Circus Festival (conceived and artistically directed by Sabrina Zannier) opens this evening in Montereale Valcellina, entitled Acrobats of the Body and the Psyche, scheduled at the former Hydroelectric Power Station Museum “A Pitter” in Malnisio (at 9 pm). A special edition, full of new features, focused on the figure and metaphor of the acrobat who stands in precarious balance but without ever falling, offers a “breathtaking” journey.

And here today, in the rich event, the show entitled AcrobaticaMente with Claudia Contin Arlecchino, Ensemble Armonia, Laura Menegon and Elisa Grillo (Tumblerart acrobats). Alongside this is the exhibition of sculpture, painting, video and short film entitled In Bilico which showcases the constant search for balance between man, nature and social relations. Music with the appointment in Rorai Piccolo in the space of Villa Correr Dolfin, at 9pm, (Loggia della Barchessa Est) where the Brass festival presents “Des Brass Quintet” curated by the Amici della Musica San Gandino.

Finally, the books: this evening at 8.30 pm in Casarsa della Delizia in the council room of Palazzo Burovich de Zmajevich “Gioacchino Marino Francescutti” will be presented. Memoirs of an emigrant, soldier and reformist”, published by Efasce-Pordenonesi nel mondo as the second release of his diary series “Testimoni”. The event is in collaboration with the City of Casarsa della Delizia.

Francescutti’s figure will be told by his nephew, Gioacchino Francescutti, former deputy mayor and current municipal councilor, who allowed the preservation of his uncle’s memories
