Perugia world refugee day: a meeting of solidarity and culture

On 27 June, the Casa dell’Associazionismo di Perugia in via della Viola 1, will host a special event on the occasion of World Refugee Day. The initiative, organized with the support of Perusia Cooperativa Sociale, Municipality of Perugia, Arci Perugia and Integration Reception System, is an opportunity to reflect on the challenges and experiences of refugees, while promoting inclusion and solidarity.

Plan The evening will begin at 6.00 pm with free entry and institutional greetings, at 6.30 pm it will continue with the presentation of the book “Losing yourself in Europe without a family” by Cecilia Ferrara and Angela Gennaro. The author, Cecilia Ferrara, will dialogue with Anna Caffio, social worker and coordinator of projects for unaccompanied foreign minors (MSNA) for Arci Perugia, and Stefania Guerrucci of Altraeconomia. The moderation will be by Barbara Pilati of Sai Perugia. At 7.30pm, participants will enjoy a buffet with dishes and drinks from around the world. The day will end at 10pm with a musical performance entitled “Are you strong?” by the duo Jabel Kanuteh and Marco Zanotti.
