June 30th is dangerously close for the over 1000 employees ofAbraham Customer Care: an unsustainable situation where not only the workers themselves are at risk but also their families. In Crotone they are trying everything: two days ago the employees of the Pythagorean headquarters have “occupied” the council chamber, but that’s not enough. For this reason, tomorrow 27 June, all employees will take to the streets to change their future.
The proximity of traders
Political figures and, above all, traders will join the protest: very many in fact they are showing solidarity with the 600 workers of Crotone and they will do it again tomorrow, lowering the shutters of their activities to join the protest.

“As requested, today we participated in the permanent assembly of Abramo Crotone employees at the city council of the president of Confcommercio Crotone Antonio Casillo also representing all other trade associations and Cristina Perri president of the women’s tertiary association of Crotone. The all associations expressed maximum solidarity for our matter and they confirmed their availability and closeness in every action that will be implemented”.
For this reason it was agreed during the meeting to organize for Thursday 27 June a demonstration in the Municipality square with closure of commercial activities from 12. We expect and hope for the presence of all the institutions of our territory, the Mayor, Councillors, Councillors, President of the Province, the Calabrian Parliamentarians and above all we invite all citizens to participate.
We also ask for participation of the governor of the Calabria Region, President Roberto Occhiuto, who became the promoter and spokesperson of our protest and who is supporting us in this difficult dispute. Abramo employees don’t want to give up! Uncertainty mortifies us! Crotone cannot afford to lose 600 jobs! Only united can we win this battle!”.
