Brescia in summer: curiosities, theater and music

Brescia in summer. This year the stage in Piazza del Mercato was chosen. The program of proposals and events will include music, theatre, art, guided tours and initiatives for the little ones, in whose creation various city entities participated − some of which for the first time − active in the field of culture and entertainment.

The great protagonist of Brescia d’Estate will be music which, on 28 June, will raise the curtain on the stage in Piazza del Mercato with the final event of the Labadabajazz event, curated by the Laba Academy of Fine Arts. The subsequent musical proposals of Brescia d’Estate will include the concerts of the Jazz on the Road, Jazz Team Brescia, Claps − Circuito Glocal Sound, San Rocco in Musica Bagolino and Etno-Tracce in Franciacorta events.

The theater will also occupy a large space on the city’s summer stage, with the proposals of Teatro 19 (Mutazioni 2024) and the Minima Teatro theater school. Then the shows of Chiara Becchimanzi and Laura Formenti and the new collaboration of Fandango, A Sud and Teatro Aquilante for the show dedicated to the environmental disaster of Seveso.

Finally, there will be no shortage of literary anniversaries of Cieli Vibranti, this year dedicated to anniversaries linked to Puccini, Byron and Saint-Exupéry. Finally, the offer of guided tours is very rich, which are structured into real unconventional walks with unusual and curious itineraries to discover the history, secrets, stories and legends of our city. Numerous local associations are involved: Arte con noi, BidiBrescia, Bresciastory, Artistic Guide, Oltre il Tondino, Discover Brescia, Speleologia Bresciana, Brescia Underground, Cieli Vibranti.
