The recent construction sites in the Nave district, and specifically in via Ammiraglio Luigi Rizzo, are contributing to changing the morphology of the territory of Marina di Ragusa. The reasons for the works lie in the allocation of a telephone antenna over 25 meters high and just over twenty meters away from neighboring houses. For this reason, the spontaneous committee “We don’t want the antenna” was born, made up of some residents of Marina. The committee expresses concern about the environmental impact and possible repercussions on public health.

The side effects caused by a telephone antenna of this magnitude, explains the committee, not only concern the health of people living nearby, but also represent a significant landscape impact on the area. The antenna is in fact located on one of the most important access roads of Marina di Ragusa, constituting the welcome prelude and the business card for the thousands of tourists who come to our locality, pride and pride of the entire community .
The spontaneous constituent committee formed by the residents of Marina di Ragusa asks a public question on what has been put in place and promotes the interruption of the works with the relocation of the antenna on other lands far from the town centre.
