19 year old investigated for sexual acts

The 19-year-old under investigation for sexual acts with a minor under 14 was arrested and taken to prison yesterday, Tuesday 25 June, by agents of the Trento flying squad together with colleagues from Verona. The young man, according to what was reconstructed by the investigators, would have engaged in prohibited behavior with his 11-year-old cousin on at least two occasions. The latest episode would have been discovered by the girl’s parents, who triggered investigations by the Trento police flying squad. The 19-year-old, after being tracked down by the police, was transferred to prison with a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the court. According to reports, what set the investigative machine in motion was the report made by the emergency room doctors of the Santa Chiara hospital to whom the little girl’s father had turned to «be subjected to a medical examination for investigations regarding dubious conduct carried out in be with his cousin at his residence”. The doctors did not find physical violence but the investigations and hearings delegated by the prosecutor’s office allowed the emergence of two episodes, not very distant in time, in which the suspect had nevertheless indulged in amorous effusions towards his little cousin. The precautionary measure of this type was taken in consideration of the circumstantial framework, but above all the seriousness of the fact because it was committed to the detriment of a child under fourteen.
