Roberta Panzeri is the new president

ALESSANDRIA – This Monday evening in the splendid setting of the La Fermata a Spinetta estate, in an atmosphere of sincere Rotarian friendship, the traditional evening of the Rotary Club of Alessandria took place with the handover of duties between the outgoing President Eng. Andrea Diotto, Executive Vice President Operations of Syensqo and the incoming President Dr. Roberta Panzeri, General Secretary of the Alessandria-Asti Chamber of Commerce.

The Eng. Diotto thanked the Club for the service experience lived in the Rotary year just ended, which saw the Rotary of Alessandria very involved in numerous services aimed at
local community and beyond, such as the hydrogen competition for high school students, the distribution of toys at the children’s hospital and the “a rice mill in Benin” project.

Dr. Panzeri thanked the Club for the trust granted and recalled the values ​​and mission of Rotary, a club at the service of society in which members are an active part. Like the Presidents who have
preceded, will work to build projects together to support the city’s realities.

The Board of Directors of the Rotarian Year 2024-25, led by Panzeri, will be composed of Roberto Demartini and Giancarlo Nervi, as Vice Presidents, Erica Venezia, Club Secretary and Alberto Peracchio, Treasurer. The Councilors all belong to the professional and entrepreneurial fabric of the City: Cristina Bagnasco, Fabio Castelli, Carlo Conforti, Valeria Emanuelli, Alice Pedrazzi, Lorenza Saitta. Completing the team are the Club Prefects: Paolo Camagna and Ivano Mozzone. The Board of Directors thus composed will remain in office until June 2025.

The evening also saw the exciting entry of two new members, Dr. Rosanna Piazza, psychotherapist and former Rotary member of the Bivona Montagna delle Rose Club (Agrigento) and Dr.
Fabrizio Brancolini, chartered accountant and statutory auditor, who will enrich the Alessandria Rotarian family with their experience and professionalism. The handover was also celebrated among the youngest members of the Rotaract club: Rebecca Cavallo, outgoing President and Francesca Pagnone, incoming President. Rebecca, excited, spoke about her experience from which she learned a lot on a human level, while Francesca, grateful to her predecessors for the work done, hoped to be able to involve more and more young people in the future so that the charitable activities carried out by the group can always have more prominence.
