The prize is back “Carlotta X AIL”, dedicated to scientific research activity, in memory of Carlotta Reitanomember, councilor and volunteer AIL passed away prematurely in September 2020.
Also up for grabs this year, 5 thousand euros, offered by the Catania section ofItalian Association against Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myelomato be awarded to a young hematology researcher under 40 who has carried out his research activity entirely at an Italian institution (hospital, university, research centre, etc.)
The candidate works must have been published in the years 2023 and 2024 or accepted by the publisher for publication by 31 July 2024, in international peer-reviewed journals with an impact factor at least >3. The candidate researcher must be the first or last name of the submitted work.
The commission that will evaluate the publications will be composed of five members: president of AIL Nazionale, president of AIL Catania, a member of the UOC of Hematology with Bone Marrow Transplant of the AOU Policlinico “G. Rodolico – San Marco” of Catania, director of the School of Specialization in Hematology of theUniversity of Catania and the architect Alessandro Amaro.
The Commission will conclude the evaluation no later than 5 September 2024. The award ceremony will be held on 18 September Catania.
