These are the words of the captain: “It’s difficult to find the right words to deal with this moment, I’ve never loved goodbyes, especially final ones. Reluctantly this journey ends here after 6 beautiful years that involved me personally and professionally. Beautiful years in which the team managed to achieve a great goal, the return to Serie C after 84 years. I had the honor of wearing the captain’s armband, I gave my all, going even further, with great self-sacrifice and a sense of belonging. What we achieved was not easy to build, we always did it all together as a big family. Thanks to all those who contributed to making these years wonderful: to the President Nicola Grieco, to the directors, coaches, trainers, medical staff, warehouse workers, secretariat, press office and to all those who work behind the scenes.
