The fifth edition of “Imprese Vincenti”, the Intesa Sanpaolo program for the valorisation of small and medium-sized businesses, an example of Made in Italy excellence, stopped in Cuneo on Tuesday. The meeting, hosted at the Spazio Varco, featured 10 Piedmontese and Ligurian companies who told their company history and the strategies thanks to which they consolidated their business development path. Among the selection parameters, the actions directed towards the project lines of the Pnrr and Transition 5.0.

Among the winning companies there are also Venchi, with 145 years of history, from Castelletto Stura which has brought Italian taste and lifestyle to 70 countries around the world and Industria Grafica Eurostampa of Bene Vagienna which has six factories in the world for the printing of labels with high added value.

This year the roadshow will stop in the main Italian cities with 15 events until October, organized in collaboration with VISA. For each meeting, ten local companies were selected. Three meetings will be dedicated to agribusiness, social enterprises and the third sector, and to foreign companies operating in the geographies of Intesa Sanpaolo’s International Subsidiary Banks Division. The 150 “Winning Companies” of the 2024 edition were selected for having activated projects or achieved significant results in terms of economic value and social impact, innovation and research, digital and ecological transition, export and international development, generational transition and dimensional consolidation, training and welfare. More generally, the adoption of ESG criteria and the development of growth projects that have contributed to creating value for the local economy, employment and people’s well-being were rewarded. The territories of the Southern Piedmont and Liguria Regional Directorate, with 32.5 billion euros in 2023, intercept 5.2% of Italian exports. A high contribution comes from Southern Piedmont (almost 22 billion euros in exports) where the top sectors for foreign sales are agri-food (especially food products and wines), mechanics, automotive, chemistry, rubber and plastic and goldsmithing. Andrea Perusin, Regional Director of Piedmont South and Liguria of Intesa Sanpaolo: «Imprese Vincenti has achieved great appreciation in these five years because it gives voice to the stories and projects of SMEs, and their ability to establish themselves on the national and foreign markets. The ten companies we are awarding today are the expression of the best made in Italy, in the various reference sectors, and virtuous examples for the contribution made to the economic and social fabric of the territory. They have demonstrated great resilience and responded to new market trends, capturing the value of sustainability, digitalisation and the social role of the company. For our part, we are ready to support their stable and inclusive growth: in the first quarter of this year we provided over 650 million euros to businesses and families in Piedmont and Liguria. The territory benefited from 18 million euros for sustainable investments, circular economy and green mortgages”
