PALERMO (ITALPRESS) – Vito Riggio has resigned as CEO of Gesap, the management company of the “Falcone e Borsellino” international airport in Palermo.
“I resigned this morning in the Board of Directors but I announced it last October,” Riggio told Italpress, explaining that he resigned “for personal reasons because I turned 77 – he continued – and then because I don’t understand the address political party of the member, which is the Municipality”.
“Then – he added – I finished the work. We had a remarkable result and therefore I felt I had to follow up on something I had already announced. Six months’ notice is more than enough for the member to take action in one direction or another.”
Finally, Riggio specified that for now he remains “administrator”. “Then we’ll see,” he concluded.
