Crotone – Adiemus is looking for talents to form a youth orchestra

Crotone – The association Adiemus opens up to the territory and presents a new project dedicated to young people. We are working on the composition of a youth orchestra which will be made up of all those young people who, having completed their studies at lower secondary school with a musical focus, want to continue to grow and engage in the world of music.

Registrations are open until September 15th and all young people aged 13 to 22 will be able to take part in the project. Four directors will make their professionalism available: Maestro Damiano Morise, Maestro Franco Pignataro, Maestro Francesco Novello and Maestro Nicola Buongiorno. The children will follow ensemble music workshops held by Maestro Comito and Maestro Valeria Procpio and Maestro Francesco Dragio, there will also be two soloists. In the annual program there will also be space for concerts, three with different styles are planned, for example film music, original songs with band, accompaniment for soloists.

«It is an opportunity – explains maestro Morise -, often children after middle school are unable to continue with music and are forced to leave.
Thanks to this project, however, they will be able to develop orchestral skills supported by Maestros.” The artistic offer in the province of Crotone thus expands thanks to the commitment of these young people who with passion continue to give, on the one hand satisfaction with their performances, including international ones, and on the other concrete possibilities for growth without necessarily having to leave their homeland to pursue dreams or even just their passions.
