Police reports 4 foreigners and a convicted felon from Bolzano

On Friday and Saturday the patrols of the State Police “Flying” Squad were called several times to deal with thefts and harassing subjects present inside commercial activities:

  1. At approximately 12pm on Friday, a first call was received to the Police Headquarters Operations Center via the emergency number “112 NUE”, reporting a theft in progress at the “EUROSPIN” supermarket in via Renon. Having arrived at the indicated location within a few minutes, the Agents made contact with the Supermarket Security Officer, who was able to report in detail what had happened: having noticed from the video surveillance cameras a non-EU citizen who he had hidden various products taken from the shelves in his bag, had decided to stop him for a check-up. The Police Officers, after having taken charge of him, identified the individual as HME, a 29-year-old Moroccan citizen in Italy without a fixed abode and with a very long list of previous records including theft, robbery, damage, interruption of public service, personal injury . To the Policemen this one candidly confirmed that he had stolen various products from the supermarket shelves and, when asked to return the stolen goods, he complied without reacting, allowing the Agents to return it to the rightful owner. Conducted in the offices of Largo Palatucci, HME came reported to the Judicial Authority for crime of theft. Taking into account the subject’s precedents, the Police Commissioner of the Province of Bolzano Paolo Sartori issued a EXPULSION DECREE with an Order of Removal from the National Territory.
  2. During the same day, at approximately 3pm, another theft in progress by 3 subjects was reported to the Police Headquarters at the same supermarket in via Renon. The crews of the “Flying” Squad sent to the scene immediately made contact with the security officer, who explained to the Police that he had seen the three subjects from the video surveillance system who they hid various products inside their backpacks. At that point, after immediately calling the Police, the Officer headed towards the exit to stop the 3 criminals, waiting for the “Steering Wheels”. The 3 – two men and a woman, later identified for these ABRs, a 28-year-old Tunisian with a history of interruption of public service; ZM, 23 year old Moroccan citizen with precedents for robbery, damage, aggravated theft and escape, as well as MG, 21 year old homeless woman from Bolzano, also burdened with precedents for aggravated theft and personal injury – at the request of the Policemen they opened their backpacks admitting that they had hidden stolen goods consisting of various products, including alcoholic beverages and various types of food. The stolen goods, not having been damaged, were returned to the supermarket staff, while the three subjects were taken to the Police Headquarters, where, at the end of the Judicial Police proceedings, they were reported in a state of freedom to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for conspiracy theft . With respect to the 2 non-EU citizens Police Commissioner of the Province of Bolzano Paolo Sartori issued the same number EXPULSION DECREES with Orders of Removal from the National Territory, while the criminal from Bolzano was hit by the Personal Prevention Measure of the Mandatory Street Sheetwith ban on returning to the Municipality of Bolzano for the next 3 years.
  3. At around 6pm on Saturday, the emergency number “112 NUE” received a request for intervention due to a harassing person who was threatening the manager of the “EUROSPAR” supermarket in Via Roma. The Flying Squad crews immediately arrived on site, where the manager of the commercial activity explained that the troublesome subject – then identified as this IN, 42 year old Romanian citizen with criminal and/or police record for brawling, aggravated robbery, violations of the urban DASPO issued in Padua – in addition to having had a harassing attitude towards him, he also had offended and threatened with phrases like “I `ll kill you”. After restoring calm inside the supermarket, the man was taken to the police station. Here, once the necessary investigations had been completed, IN was reported to the Judicial Authority for the crime of threatening. Against him the Police Commissioner of the Province of Bolzano Paolo Sartori issued the Personal Prevention Measure of Mandatory Street Sheetwith ban on returning to the Municipality of Bolzano for the next 4 years.
