In the evening of Saturday 22 June 2024the Carabinieri received a request for intervention due to the dispute that broke out in the street, a Mortar, between two subjects. The injured man and the attacker clashed for reasons related to jealousy and then, before the intervention of the Carabinieri, theattacker would have vanished into thin air to then be tracked down and identified by the police.
Violent quarrel in Mortara
They were the 8.45pm when the alarm went off, the two were nearby Mortara in via Alcide De Gasperi. The dynamics of what happened are not yet clear but it is assumed that at the basis of the quarrel there are reasons linked to jealousy.
According to what has been reconstructed so far, it seems that the attacker has the 45-year-old was hit disastrously and then flee before the arrival of the Military. The 118 emergency services also intervened on site, with theMortara Red Cross ambulance and two medical vehicleswho provided first aid to the injured man, and then accompanied him toSan Matteo Hospital in Pavia due to wrist trauma.
The discovery
The attacker, after having disappeared into the surrounding streets before the arrival of the Carabinieri of the Comrades Command of Vigevano, was then stopped and identified. Investigations are still underway to reconstruct the motive.
