The renovated shelters are located in Vienna Square (terminus), Via Luna e Sole (in front of schools), Via Gramsci (in front of Conad), Viale Italia (Polyclinic side), via Predda Niedda (Cemetery), Predda Niedda str 21 (in front of the former Auchan), Cossiga Course (in front of school N.2), Via Lobina 7 (Sant’Orsola).

Characteristics of the renovated shelters.

The shelters have a modern design which combines elegance and functionality, thanks to a graphic restyling that improves its aesthetics and facilitates visual cleaning. The multilingual information panels have been inserted for facilitate use also to visitors and tourists.

Safety is a priority. Each shelter is equipped with a anti-intrusion alarm system with control unit, outdoor siren and impact protection for vending machines and armored doors. A video surveillance system active 24 hours a day, with two Minidome cameras for each shelter, connected to the operations center of a local surveillance institute, guarantees continuous surveillance. Also, an additional security level is characterized by night patrols always carried out by security operators.

Regarding comfort, the shelters are equipped with automatic ticket machines self-service that accept electronic payments, including innovative systems such as Satispay. A significant advantage is represented by banknote readers present in vending machines, which allow purchases not only with coins, but also with 5 and 10 euro banknotes. The vending machines offer a wide range of snacks and drinks, including coffee and hot products. Furthermore, the vending machines’ multilingual touch tablet represents the pinnacle of modernity and efficiency. Thanks to its intuitive interface and advanced touchscreen technology, the tablet simplifies the selection and purchasing process. Thus ensuring a seamless and accessible experience for a wide range of users, both local and international. Waste bins have also been installed and ashtray to keep the area clean.

A crucial aspect is the maintenance and cleaning of shelters. A regular rodent control and crawling insect monitoring program is in place to ensure a safe and secure environment hygienic for all travellers.

In case of Technical Problemsusers will be able to count on support via WhatsApp. In addition to traditional telephone support, it is possible to contact the support team via instant messaging, by scanning a QR code present in every shelter. This innovative option allows users to instantly connect to the support team, quickly resolving any issues.
