The traditional handover ceremony took place on Thursday evening Rotary Club Faenzacon Scipio de Leonardis who assumed the office of President for the year 2024-2025, succeeding Giuseppe Giba.

Scipio de Leonardisa retired State Police Director, boasts an extensive curriculum. Graduated in Law, with a license to practice as a Lawyer, he has held management roles in various police headquarters in Italy, managing offices in Sicily, Emilia Romagna, Marche, Piedmont, Lazio and Abruzzo.

In Faenza he directed the Police Station from 2007 to 2012, during which time the Office was transferred to the premises in via San Silvestro. In our province he held the position of Director of the Police Station of Lugo from 2000 to 2004 and, from 2012 to 2017, he directed the Anti-Crime Division of the Ravenna Police Headquarters.

In addition to his passion for his work, de Leonardis has always stood out for his social commitment. He is an Honorary Member of the ANPS (National Association of State Police) Section of Lugo, a member of the Board of Directors of the UNUCI (Retired Officers) Section of Lugo and a member of the Board of Directors of the “Goffredo Parise and Giosetta Fioroni” Foundation.
