10.20 The weekend of the eighth round of the championship officially begins. We start at 10.45 am with free practice, then at 3.00 pm it will be time for pre-qualifying!

10.15 Good morning and welcome to Assen! In exactly 30 minutes the Dutch GP weekend will start!

How to follow the first day of the Assen weekend on TV/streamingThe presentation of the Dutch GPNumbers and statistics of the Dutch GP

Good morning and welcome to LIVE coverage of the first day of practice for the Dutch GP, the eighth act of the MotoGP season. On the challenging circuit of shaftsdrivers and teams will be hunting for answers in terms of set-up, thinking about tomorrow’s qualifying and Sunday’s race, without obviously forgetting the Sprint Race.

The direct confrontation for the world title resumes between Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin. Pecco, fresh from his triumph at Mugello where he won both the Sprint and the GP, is motivated to repeat and close the gap on the Spaniard. The Piedmontese rider is currently 18 points behind the Iberian. The fact that he won in the last two circumstances in the Cathedral of Motorcycling is an important reassurance.

Martin will have to respond present and we’ll see how market maneuvers will influence what happens on the track. The current championship leader, in fact, has announced his divorce from the Borgo Panigale company to go to Aprilia and so it will be interesting to understand what repercussions there will be. On the other hand, next year Marc Marquez it will be official with Pecco and could play the role of the third wheel this weekend.

OA Sport will offer you the LIVE coverage of the first day of practice for the Dutch GP, the eighth act of the MotoGP season: real-time news and constant updates. It starts at 10.45 with the first free practice sessions, then at 15.00 the Pre-Qualifying sessions. Good fun!
