Napoli has reached an agreement with Chelsea for Lukaku at a figure of around 30 million euros. The online edition of Republic:
Romelu Lukaku is approaching Napoli: the Belgian center forward is Antonio Conte’s first choice for his new career with the blue shirt, De Laurentiis and sporting director Manna are working to please him. The striker has opened up to the club, he wants to return to work with the Lecce coach: “The best coach I’ve ever had”, he confessed not long ago. Chelsea is among the clubs interested in the Nigerian striker (there are also PSG and other Premier League clubs). De Laurentiis is certainly doing everything he can to satisfy Conte’s wishes and one of these is to return to work with the goal-scoring player who was already decisive during Inter’s Scudetto victory. Lukaku has received very important offers from Saudi Arabia, but Napoli’s proposal – with its fascinating challenge – intrigues him quite a bit and he is inclined to accept it after the end of the European Championship, to the delight of the Neapolitan fans: in Germany, the Belgian striker is still fasting for goals, but three goals have been disallowed by VAR and his performances, apart from the last one against Ukraine, must be considered good.
