20 years after the birth of the sixth province of Puglia, the opposition provincial councilors of the centre-right Nobile, Vitrani, Calabrese, Leo and de Noia accuse the president Bernardo Lodispoto of the institutional “forgetfulness”: «The Barletta-Andria Province was born 20 years ago. It is appropriate to remember on this day those who worked towards this goal, which materialized in 2009 with the celebration of the first provincial elections. Subsequently, the Rio reform denied citizens the possibility of freely expressing their representatives in the Provincial Council, assigning all decision-making power to the President alone and limiting the action of the provincial councilors no longer elected by the people but by mayors and municipal councilors of the municipalities of the Province”.
The attack on Lodispoto
