On the occasion of the Absolute Athletics Championships scheduled for the weekend at the “Montagna” sports center, the Municipality of La Spezia issued an ordinance that will regulate traffic and behavior in the reference area. Be careful because some measures are in force today and will last until July 1st. Here are all the changes made. In the meantime, the organizational machinery of the Red Cross of La Spezia for the Absolute Italian athletics championships who will be hosted at the “Montagna” sports centre over the weekend. Two days of great commitment not only for the athletes but also for the CRI volunteers, who will be employed on the field on both days, starting from 8:00 am until 11:00 pm. There will be a total of 70 rescuers engaged in the “Montagna” for the health care of the event, ready to intervene if necessary in coordination with 118, with two ambulances always present on site. In addition, the sports center area will be monitored for the entire duration of the event by two teams on foot, made up of rescuers equipped with appropriate medical equipment to quickly deal with any emergencies. Finally, a third Red Cross ambulance with its crew will be used on Sunday for medical assistance during the 10 km march that will take place along the city streets.
