“We will not sign anything that involves using employee money to clean up the company’s balance sheet.” This is the position of the UILFPL of Ravenna which explains: “Despite the agreement containing various requests made over time by the UIL FPL such as the increase in meal vouchers, the financing of a project for sudden absences in 12 and 24 hour services, the start of horizontal progressions, confirmation of Welfare for those with children in the 0-21 age group, expansion of the time slots for the use of meal vouchers, with the possibility of combining them through a specific study to be outlined, we decided not to sign as it was in the same agreement L’USL company appropriates 2 million and 500 thousand euros owned by employees”.

“Subtracting 2 million and 500 thousand euros from employees is an act that cannot find any type of sharing and justification at a time, moreover, where employees are strongly urged to cope with a gradual downsizing of the workforce – they continue from the union – In fact, the Region itself states that in the AUSL of Romagna alone, the employees, as of 31 December 2023, decreased by 136 units. This means greater discomfort for those who remain in the ward with consequent difficulties in planning holidays, permits, managing rest periods and sudden absences. The Company therefore, in addition to saving on the failure to apply turnover to the detriment of employees, who are consequently forced to bend over backwards, also asks for more work through additional services which however it does not want to pay from its own budget but rather through the 2 million and 500 Thousands of euros stolen from the same employees; resources that would instead be used to finance something else”.

“We will not remain silent – ​​they underline from Uil FPL – Reaching out to restore the company budget using employee money is something unacceptable that the Company has already repeated with the funds of the healthcare management staff; even in that circumstance the UIL together with other organizations did not sign the agreement”.

“The 2 and a half million will return the employees’ assets, thus guaranteeing them further benefits, especially to those who cannot find answers with this agreement. The additional services instead are paid with Company resources together with a parallel staff adjustment. This is a basic principle – they conclude -. Going back on this means making things get worse and worse while at the same time denying any work-life balance policy in favor of male and female workers.”
