Azienda Zero continues on its structuring path.
Today, the extraordinary commissioner Gandolfo Miserendino, after evaluating the various curricula received at the conclusion of the expression of interest announced last 4 June, proceeded to appoint Dr. Domenico Minniti as health director.
The governance body, on which the president of the Region and ad acta commissioner, Roberto Occhiuto, is focusing to bring order to the health system in Calabria, completes its strategic direction by thus placing another very important piece in the path traced, since his inauguration, by the extraordinary commissioner Miserendino.
Native of Naples but raised in Calabria, precisely in Reggio Calabria, 63 year old Domenico Minniti, an anesthesiologist-resuscitator, has gained various important professional experiences in the healthcare institutions of our Region due to his vast expertise in the field of Emergency-Urgency.
“The appointment of the health director is part of the structuring process put in place to give substance to the institution – declared the extraordinary commissioner Miserendino -, and represents another important stage in its organizational process.
I am sure that, with the arrival of Minniti, Azienda Zero will be able to count on valid professionalism which, due to its profound knowledge of the Calabrian healthcare system, will represent an added value for the action that the organization is called upon to carry out”.
