Stefania Cinzia Scozzafava is the rector-headmaster of the National Boarding School “Pasquale Galluppi”, the new president of the ANP (National Association of Principals) of the province of Catanzaro. The Assembly to proceed with the election took place last Friday in the rooms of the “Malafarina” Technical Institute of Soverato after the report of the outgoing president, Domenico Servello. The latter took over the leadership of the regional ANP and this is why new elections had to be held at the provincial level. The assembly thus elected Scozzafava who is ready to welcome this new challenge with the aim of continuing in the wake of what her predecessor did. “My thanks go to the manager Servello – commented the new president – for his dedication and commitment which have led our association to achieve important goals in terms of discussion and proposal. I would also like to express heartfelt thanks to all those who voted for me, giving me great trust. I am sure that – she continued – also with the precious support and collaboration of all our colleagues, we will be able to carry out new initiatives and face future challenges with renewed enthusiasm and determination in a period in which the role of the school head must face problems of of no small importance. I am thinking, for example, also of the new sizing plans which will have to be taken into account both from the point of view of administrative overload and a probable lack of staff”. For his part, Servello extended his best wishes to the new president, giving maximum availability for a fruitful collaboration. “My idea of an association – he commented – is not only that of an efficient trade union organization but of a place of reflection, an opportunity for daily support. My aspiration – she concluded – is to transform it into a solid professional community. A vision which, I am sure, is also shared by the Scozzafava manager.”
