The three days of the world championship kicked off on the Assen circuit. The Moto3 free practice sessions for the Dutch GP begin and it is the Spaniard Ivan Ortolà (Mt Helmets MSI) who signs the best timestopping the clock at 1’40”610. Eleventh place for Riccardo Rossi (1’41″667) ahead of the Japanese Tatsuki Suzuki (1’41″677) and the Spanish Daniel Holgado (1’41″780), second in the world ranking and forced to chase his rivals in this first part of the Dutch weekend . The other Italians were further behind: 17th Filippo Farioli, 19th Luca Lunetta, 21st Matteo Bertelle, 26th Luca Carraro.
