Less than two weeks after the historic arrival in Turin of the Tour de France, the ToRide initiatives continue, the program of events with which the city is celebrating its passion for cycling and cycling.

From Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th June, while awaiting the arrival of the stage scheduled for Monday 1st July, the International Book Fair offers the literary review “Tour à Turin”: eight free meetings dedicated to cycling and its epic tales, with the participation of authors, journalists, experts and bike enthusiasts.

The meetings will take place in two exceptional locations: the sumptuous Sala delle Feste of Palazzo Madama and the Motovelodromo Fausto Coppi, a symbolic place for Turin cycling.

Furthermore, on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June the public attending the talks will be able to admire the “Grand Depart” trophy up close. Created in 2013 on the occasion of the hundredth edition of the Tour de France, the trophy celebrates the passing of the baton between the countries that host the start of the most important cycling stage race in the world, an honor that this year – for the first time – will go to ‘Italy. One more reason to attend the meetings, which will be free to attend, with reservations recommended on salutopiu.salonelibro.it.
