MODENA. They were out together on benches in a place that should be quiet like the little park in front of the church. A group of underage teenagers, boys and girls, having a chat on a classic relaxing Friday evening. And they’re finished stonedso much so that one of them even had to go to hospital.
It happened on Friday around 11pm Albareto, in front of the parish church. They were there talking without bothering anyone when a group of young people who have been causing problems in the town for some time arrived. From what has been reconstructed, they began to insult and throw stones at the boys sitting down. They tried to stay calm and talk to others, to avoid clashes. When they saw that there was no reason, they got up and left. But the young people who arrived continued to insult them, and one of them threw them from behind a stone that hit a little girl on the head, was injured. Having realized what had happened, the attackers ran away. The companion’s boys instead rescued their friend and raised the alarm: their parents were on the scene, who called the state police. The officers collected the information also acquiring the parish cameras to reconstruct what happened, given that the girl’s parents expressed their intention to file a complaint. The injured girl spent the night in hospital, but was then sent back to her home: luckily nothing serious for her. But what happened was the straw that broke the camel’s back against these “bullies” who have also been seen throwing stones at cars in the past.
