Savona. This morning in Via Paleocapa, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Unicef Italia Committee, the “Blue Bench of the Rights of children and adolescents” was inaugurated.

“We need to reflect on how we can help ensure a better world for all children, who have the right to grow up in a safe and loving environment. The blue bench, just like the color of the flags of the historic United Nations Fund, is the second stop, after the Baby Pit Stop inaugurated a month ago in the atrium of the Municipality of Savona, thanks to a path born from the collaboration with the Municipality of Savona, in particular with the deputy mayor Elisa Di Padova sensitive to the needs of the little ones and with the Councilor Branca who is developing a series of actions to make Savona increasingly a child-friendly city. A symbol to remind families and institutions of the importance of listening to the little ones while respecting their rights”, states the Provincial President of Savona for Unicef, Veronica Cocumazzo.

During the inauguration, the children of the last year of the “Don Curioni” nursery school decorated the blue bench with many colored hands, at the conclusion of a work on the knowledge of their rights carried out by the school teachers, Elena, Federica , Marta and Veronica.
