Four coffin-shaped key rings were delivered this morning to the home of the lawyer’s parents. Vincenzo Di Staso, already candidate for mayor in the municipal elections of 8-9 June, delivered inside the separate waste collection container bearing the name and surname of the owners.
The men from the Manfredonia police station are investigating the matter, where the lawyer filed a regular complaint.
The message of solidarity and closeness from the association and its political group of reference, namely Strada Fare, to Di Staso and his family was not long in coming, “for the vile acts of intimidation and explicit death threats of which they have been victims in recent hours” highlight.
“The episode – we read in the note published on the Facebook page – it is a disturbing sign of a dangerous, poisoned climate in Manfredonia which, unfortunately, increasingly sees respectable people in its sights. We are certain that the investigations will lead to the identification of those responsible for what happened, also to restore legality, freedom and serenity to the city, finally putting an end to this ignoble and exasperating escalation of tension and fear. Come on Vincenzo, you are not alone!”.
