PESARO – Two Michelin stars for the civic museums of Pesaro.
Pleasant visit Green Guide Michelin Italy yesterday at Pesaro 2024. The journalists of the historic tourist and cultural guide, led by director Philippe Orain, arrived in the Italian Capital of Culture to reward the Civic Museums with two Stars (which in the Michelin legend mean that the site is worth a “detour on the journey”): an international and prestigious recognition, which places the Pesaro Museums in the gotha of the Italian Civic Museums.
The evaluation that allowed the Civics to obtain the coveted recognition is based on the evaluation of some aspects including: notoriety, wealth of heritage, historical importance, beauty, authenticity, quality of management and maintenance, quality of hospitality and visits.

The goods exhibited in the museum are unique and of inestimable value historical and artistic; to this data must be added the value recognized by the parameters of reception and maintenanceevaluation reward elements, which best describe the care that the Administration dedicates to its tourist sites, including the city Museums, a dynamic, open, welcoming, lively and identifying place of ‘The nature of culture’ of Pesaro 2024 ».
Vimini then underlines the recognitions quantitative and qualitative obtained from the city’s tourism strategy: «The increases in attendance (+36% compared to 2023) represent an element of evaluation quantity; obtaining the two Green Stars Michelin testifies that, at the basis of everything, there is a very high quality of the cultural and tourist offer of Pesaro 2024. It is a result that we share with all those who work at the Museumsboth the scientific part and the management and reception part.”
The award ceremony for the Green Stars and the Michelin Guide prize took place this morning in the “Giardino d’inverno” conference room of Palazzo Ducale in Urbino, a city awarded – for its historic center – with three stars. Also present at the ceremony Luigi Gallodirector of the National Gallery of the Marche, «a precious figure for the story and valorization of Pesaro 2024, Urbino and the territory of our province».
