San Cristoforo neighborhood surrounded by law enforcement and checks for more than 90 people. After the attack suffered a few nights ago by five policemen, over 50 officers were involved in a extraordinary control of the San Cristoforo districtto Catania. The neighborhood was entirely surrounded from the policewith the support of local police and gods fire fighters. They were checked more than 90 people and 45 vehicles; Furthermore, 20 infringements of the highway code were reported and several were committed drug searches. With the help of the firefighters, then, they were some iron structures removed built on uninhabited properties, probably for encourage drug dealing activities.

Investigations are still underway to identify the people responsible for the attack.
