Autostrade per l’Italia has communicated that on the A14 Bologna-Taranto The section between Pescara south and Ortona towards Bari was temporarily closed following an accident at km 402.5, which involved a heavy vehicle and a car. The Fire Brigade, medical and mechanical emergency services, traffic police patrols and staff from the management of the 7th Pescara section of Autostrade per l’Italia intervened on site. Currently, traffic is blocked in the affected section and there is a 5km queue in the direction of Bari. Users coming from Ancona/Pescara and heading to Bari must exit at Pescara sud and re-enter the A14 at Ortona, following ordinary roads.
