At the sight of the Carabinieri he tries to escape. Once stopped he takes on an agitated and intolerant attitude towards control. Once the house was searched, three cocaine eggs were found hidden inside a pair of trousers.
Some inhabitants of the Montanara neighborhood had reported to the Carabinieri of Parma Oltretorrente a coming and going of people, at all hours of the day and night, from an apartment building in the neighborhood. The reports all seemed to coincide and indicate that something strange, probably illegal, was happening in that condominium. At this point the Carabinieri of Parma Oltretorrente, who have always been particularly sensitive and attentive to reports from citizens, wanted to investigate further.
A team of young Carabinieri, men and women, was thus formed, motivated and ready to sacrifice Saturdays and Sundays in order to achieve the set objective.
Thus began the first observation services with the aim of verifying what was reported by citizens, with female Carabinieri in civilian clothes placed in the neighborhood to verify the movements.
The team thus began to tighten the circle around the building, documenting the movements day after day and “framing” the subjects of interest. Among many, the military’s attention was attracted by the 45-year-old foreigner who rode his bike in and out even at night. Having ascertained that the man did not carry out any work activity that could justify such behaviour, two days ago the Carabinieri decided to take action, planning a patrol service throughout the Montanara neighbourhood.
And then a patrol intercepted the suspect riding his bike, who, having noticed the presence of the service car, started pedaling like a madman reaching via Langhirano, where in the meantime two other patrols had arrived, blocking his way and blocking him.
Even before the Carabinieri asked him anything, the man defended himself by saying that he had done nothing and that he was only running because he was late for work. But the state of agitation that the man was assuming and his desire not to provide his documents made the operators believe that he had something to hide. At this point the military informed the man that they would shortly carry out a house search, a circumstance which increased the 45-year-old’s state of agitation and anguish to the point of assuming that the man could actually have something illegal in his home. .
During the search, three “ovums” of 10 grams each containing cocaine, a precision scale and various materials for packaging the narcotic to be given to third parties were found inside the pocket of a pair of trousers. The narcotic, subjected to rapid examination with the supplied kit, turned out to be cocaine and together with the material found it was seized.
At the end of the activity, on the basis of the evidence acquired, the 45-year-old foreigner was declared under arrest because he was held responsible for the crime of possession of 30 gr. of cocaine-type narcotics for the purposes of dealing and at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor on duty he was transferred to his home under house arrest, awaiting the celebration of the very direct rite.
The judge, after validating the arrest, ordered the non-custodial measure of the obligation to sign against the 45-year-old.
