An important new result was obtained during the control of the territory, in order to prevent and combat predatory crimes. In fact, the Carabinieri of the Crema Company tracked down four people in possession of burglary tools and radios that can be tuned to the frequencies of the police force, probably managing to stop them before they could commit home burglaries. The Carabinieri of the Crema Radiomobile Unit have reported three men and a woman of aged between 27 and 52, two of whom have police records against them for crimes against property, all domiciled in the province of Milan and illegal on the national territory. The check took place shortly after 10.00 on 21 June, when the Crema Radiomobile patrol was in via Milano for routine checks in the commercial area of the city and the soldiers noticed the presence of a car wandering around in a manner suspect among commercial activities. They immediately stopped the vehicle and identified the four occupants. And they understood that something was wrong because none of them had a regular residence permit and they did not validly justify their presence on site, showing evident nervousness about the immediate control. The Carabinieri noticed that in the back seat of the car the four had a screwdriver, pliers and a radio. Taking into account that two of them had previous convictions for property crimes, they were searched without finding anything else. All the material was seized and the four were accompanied to the Crema barracks and reported.
