The Robur 2024/2025 season is slowly taking shape. Siena made the signing of striker Filippo Boccardi (in the photo) official yesterday. “The club is pleased to announce that it has renewed the contract for the sporting performances of the player – reads the note -, who has signed up for the Bianconeri colors for the 2024/2025 season. In truth, there have never been any major doubts regarding the renewal of Boccardi, another player who arrived in Siena at the behest of Mr. Magrini, the only wait was for it to be formalised. The official announcement of the striker’s stay at the Torre del Mangia followed the recent ones of Elia Galligani (confirmed) and Daniele Cavallari (renewal) and the older one of Lorenzo Lollo who signed the contract extension ( until 2026) over two months ago, with the championship still underway. Boccardi’s contribution, although his career at Juventus was affected by injuries, was substantial: 8 goals scored in 26 appearances. Boccardi’s career, then, speaks for itself: the attacker played mainly in Serie D and Serie C and returned to Eccellenza last season after the Grosseto period, with which he then conquered Serie D and, immediately following , Serie C. Among the forwards, Boccardi and Galligani should be the only confirmed ones from the group that achieved promotion, unbeaten last year. In fact, the paths of Robur and those of Ricciardo and Granado (the latter ended up in the sights of Orvietana) should separate.
The directors Farina and Guerri, in concert with Mr. Magrini, are therefore working on the formation of the department, so that it can be of a high level both from the point of view of quality and quantity, with both over and under additions, which make it heterogeneous (a profile which is popular is the Martina Franca one in Palermo).
