L’ASDP Roberto Serra Fasano communicates that in collaboration with the ASD Centro Accademico Sportivo of Arezzo, Pallamano Conversano and with the patronage of Area 8 of the FIGH and the Municipality of Fasano, organizes the first edition of the Campus Talent Handball “Alessio Bisori” Puglia, which will take place from 25 to 29 June 2024 at the “F. Zizzi” in Fasano and the Pala San Giacomo in Conversano.
In the last week of June, Fasano will once again return to the center of attention of the national handball movement with over fifty boys and girls from all over Italy who will participate in training sessions directed by French and Spanish coaches specialized in youth training. Coaches who will transmit their sporting culture, contributing to the improvement of the participants both on a physical and technical level and in their knowledge of the game. But also with the many Italian technicians who will attend the training sessions, because the Campus Talent Handball “Alessio Bisori” Puglia will also be a clinic for coaches, recognized by the FIGH which will issue the training credits required for the mandatory updating of the coaches.
An intense week in which our city will help create a bridge between different handball cultures, to encourage contamination and exchange to further grow the passion for handball in our city, where for over forty years it has been one of the most widespread sports disciplines and practice.
The “Alessio Bisori” Talent Handball Campus was founded in 2013 thanks to the initiative of coach Saadi Abderraham to honor the memory of Alessio Bisori, a great Tuscan talent of Italian handball who died in 2012 at just 24 years old and grew up in the youth sector coached by him. Abderraham’s idea is to let young Italian handball players experience a week of training with technicians specialized in youth teaching from the best international handball schools and then offer the best talents the possibility of an internship in Paris in collaboration with Paris Saint Germain, one of the most prestigious clubs in the world.
In recent years, the “Alessio Bisori” Talent Handball Campus has become a real event, offering two editions, one in winter and one in summer, always sold-out, in addition to Parisian workshops for boys and girls. So far all the campus editions have taken place in northern Italy (Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Veneto), forcing many Apulian kids to travel thousands of kilometres. Thanks to the collaboration born with the participation of two of our boys at the Talent Campus in Ferrara last January, we wanted to contribute to the organization of a summer edition also in our region which will allow technicians and young athletes from all over Italy to cultivate in the afternoon their passion for handball, using the rest of the day to get to know and admire the beauties of our territory.
