The prevention and control devices for the summer have been remodeled within the provincial committee

The State is close to local communities by listening to their requests and working for the safety and liveability of the territories. The prefect of Campobasso Michela Lattarulo reminded this today to the participants in the provincial committee for public order and safety chaired by the same prefect in the council chamber of the municipality of Termoli, a locality – together with the other coastal municipalities of the province – with a strong tourist and tourist vocation therefore more exposed in the summer period to possible problems in terms of safety, public order and liveability for inhabitants and tourists.

Taking stock of the security situation in the coastal area, with a focus dedicated to the pressures which – in terms of attempts to infiltrate organized crime in the territory – come from outside and in particular from Puglia, the needs represented by the mayors present, the first citizens of Termoli, Campomarino, Montenero di Bisaccia and Petacciato.

These are the elements taken into consideration for the purposes of organizing prevention and control devices in the area in view of the summer which will be implemented, based on the areas of competence, by the police force, the fire brigade, the port authority , from the Guardia di Finanza – air and naval department, from the Molise regional health company, from Anas and from the territorial labor inspectorate, all bodies present at the meeting with their own representatives, together with representatives of the operational section of the anti-mafia investigative directorate (Dia) of Foggia .
