A few hours after the day of pre-ballot silence, the civic candidate Alessandro Mager announced that he had filed a complaint with the police after having become aware of the circulation on some social media profiles of the supporter of his centre-right opponent of a false mock-up of the ballot paper which under the symbols of its four civic lists also shows those of the Democratic Party and Generazione Sanremo. «It’s a fake, a mystification – explains Mager – there is no connection with the candidate of the Left Fulvio Fellegara», with whom however there were meetings and agreements that led him to ask his constituency to vote for Mager in the runoff. “It wouldn’t surprise me that this false information on social media could be followed by leafleting aimed at disorientating the electorate.” Then a response to the former mayor Zoccarato who in a self-produced video also on social media claimed that Mager would like to close the Sanremo hospital in favor of the one in Imperia. “Perhaps he doesn’t know that the convergence has been on the single hospital of Taggia for some time, but he certainly doesn’t remember that it was during his mandate as mayor that Sanremo lost the court, precisely in favor of Imperia”. Still regarding the affair of the fake facsimile card, Mager concluded: “It’s a mystification, I wonder what we would face if these people were to manage the city, a thought that scares me.” And Rolando? “A relationship with him that is always correct and based on mutual respect.” A confirmation that there are other characters that worry him.
