It was officially stipulated with the signatures affixed by the respective Presidents Filippo Di Antonio and Massimo D’Aprileas part of the press conference called at the company headquarters in via Delfico, thefive-year agreement (renewable for a further five years) between Città di Teramo 1913 and FC Gaetano Bonolis.
A partnership that marks a concrete restart of the city’s youth football movementwith the aim of cultivating a dream for the children of the area, in which the “Bonolis” will continue to closely follow the categories of “Little Friends”, “First kicks”, “Chicks”, “Rookies” up to the Under 14, while it will be the Devil’s main task to select the kids deemed suitable for an important stage, taking care of the Under 15s and 17s (to be verified whether with regional or provincial implications) and the National Juniors.
The speaker initially spoke President Filippo Di Antonio: «I believe it is a very important day for Teramo football, through a union between two realities that I am sure can be a harbinger of mutual satisfaction. The delay with which we started a year ago had not allowed us to work adequately on the current union, for an idea that needed to be explored in depth to understand it in its fullness. We will try to give maximum importance to the youth team, expanding the structure with important figures. It was important to send a further signal of rebirth to the community».
This is echoed by the number one of the Fc Bonolis, Massimo D’Aprile: «A great honor to have defined this bond, based solely on the creation of something extraordinary for the city of Teramo, further enhancing the territory and its children. Numbers are irrelevant without quality and it is this last aspect that we have always focused on. As regards the systems, Acquaviva will be available to Teramo during times in which we do not have agreements with other entities, both for the youth teams and for any finishing touches to the first team, compatibly with existing commitments. I would like to thank the trusted people who explored the technicalities of the agreement: the lawyer Carlo Fedele, the General Manager Antonio Paoluzzi, Enzo Montani who acted as intermediary and Romolo De Baptistis».
Just one of the members of Città di Teramo 1913, Romolo De Baptististhen added: «The children who learn to play football will now feel even closer to the future possibility of wearing the Teramo shirt, living a little dream. The Youth Sector represents a focal point, the first corporate resource. I like to comment with a slogan of our fans: “All united we will have no limits” and today, from this angle, is a historic day for our city!».
A unity of purpose that also transpires from the words of General manager White Red Antonio Paoluzzi: «There is a clear understanding between the parties in order to want to build something unique and, probably, never created before in Teramo, broadening the perspectives and range of action of the Youth Sector, with the desire to be able to see up close, one day, small budding champions who can also be functional from a first team perspective».
