The return of the double daily flight «increases the overall offer of seats between the two cities by over 30%, guaranteeing greater flexibility in travel solutions towards Spain and the rest of the intercontinental network», explains Camillo Bozzolo, commercial director aviation by Save. According to estimates, he specifies, «it will allow us to reach over 250 thousand passengers annually to South America, exceeding the historical record of 2019. Their flights will strengthen economic ties, as well as tourist flows from our catchment area».

«The restoration of this route confirms Air Europa as one of the main reference carriers for connections between Europe and the Americas – states Renato Scaffidi, country manager Italy of Air Europa -. From today we have resumed connections, guaranteeing passengers departing from Venice two daily frequencies towards Madrid to continue towards Spain and the Islands. We are very happy to have managed to restore operations from Venice airport which had given excellent results pre-pandemic.”
