Viterbo – The seminar “Sustainability and green initiatives for the construction sector” took place on Friday 28 June in Viterbo, in the auditorium of the territorial headquarters of Unindustria and Ance in Via Faul. The central theme of the meeting is the use and understanding, in the construction world, of ESG (Environmental, social, governance) parameters, i.e. the three fundamental criteria used to evaluate the sustainability and social ethics of a company.
The conference is promoted by Unindustria and Ance Viterbo as part of the “BuildInnovate” construction training project, a training course for businesses and startups created in collaboration with the Rieti-Viterbo Chamber of Commerce and the Rome Chamber of Commerce. The objective is to provide companies and operators in the construction sector with notions and tools related to sustainability, as well as insights into specific green initiatives to be implemented to raise awareness in the business world and their stakeholders in a context of great regulatory change.

It is therefore essential that a balance is created, guaranteeing companies the possibility of continuing to benefit from these opportunities”.
