«The huckster of the day is, without a doubt – said the Dems – the Governor Roberto Occhiuto who is publicly struggling to tear his clothes after the approval, in Parliament, of the Differentiated Autonomy, a barbaric, uncivilized law, which marks the definitive collapse of the South and takes away the mask of a Northern and evidently anti-Southern Government”. «After having voted in favor of the then Calderoli bill in the State-Regions Conference – continues the note – the president of the Calabria Region, probably alerted by the citizens’ hostility to this legal opprobrium, is only now pretending to raise his tone against his same majority. From his collection of somersaults, he then pulls out the most unlikely and reckless gymnastic exercise, showing appreciation for the choice of the Calabrian deputies of Forza Italia not to attend the vote. Attention, mind you: they did not vote against. They simply preferred not to vote. In short, no assumption of responsibility. No transparency towards their fellow citizens.
