Rimini, 21 June 2024 – The round of hearings continues in the investigation linked tomurder of Pierina Paganelli. After the daughter of Manuela Bianchi and Giuliano Saponi and a cousin of Bianchi herself, next Tuesday it will be the turn of the only suspect, Louis Dassilvasubmit to interrogation before the pm Daniele Paci.

In the meantime, the day before yesterday they were interviewed by the investigators of the flying squad, led by the chief commissioner Marco Masia, some friends of Manuela Bianchi, daughter-in-law of the 78-year-old nurse, killed with 29 stab wounds on 3 October 2023 in the underground garage in via Del Ciclamino, in Rimini. In particular, the investigators would have asked the friends, as people informed of the facts, questions regarding the relationship between Bianchi herself and the Saponi family. But they would also have focused on the extramarital affair between Manuela and the neighbor, the 34-year-old Senegalese metalworker Louis Dassilva. Is it possible that Pierina knew about that secret flirtation – according to some, which also continued after her murder – or that she, in any case, had begun to have suspicions about the presence of another man in the life of the wife of her son Giuliano? Louis – this is one of the hypotheses being examined by the investigators – may have seen in Paganelli, her neighbor, an obstacle to the continuation of the affair with Manuela, but also a threat to his marriage with his wife Valeria Bartolucci. The friends would have confirmed the existence of that loving bond, a real infatuation on both sides.
