It was approved on new code of conduct for the Municipality’s employees and external consultants. To be precise, the minimum duties required have been defined with the object of diligence, loyalty, impartiality and good conduct.
“The Code of Conduct of the Municipality of Pisa had already focused on the aspects indicated by the Government both in terms of prevention of corruptionboth with regards to relations with the publicwith a series of measures aimed at guaranteeing transparency, availability, correctness and simplification of administrative activity – stated the Personnel Councilor Gabriella Porcaro – the new text was integrated with the contents of the decree and the dedicated office worked on the drafting of the new code focusing on aspects relating to behavior in service with a view to guarantee the best services for citizens“.
A was placed focus on the correct use of IT tools and as regards telephony, the employee will be required to use IT or telephone tools only for work activities. Furthermore, it was underlined that users of the Municipality must be welcomed with correctness and courtesy without forgetting respect for confidentiality.
The employee must also maintain behavior appropriate to his role and observe professional secrecy, as well as comply with the measures for the prevention of offenses in the administration.
