Villa d’Este and Lake Como celebrate high-level hospitality and nautical tradition in an exclusive meeting dedicated to vintage and classic hulls on the occasion of a new event signed Villa d’Este Style, Sunday 21 July 2024.
Villa d’Este thus reconfirms itself as one of the main destinations on Lake Como for owners of vintage wooden motorboats. Now in its fifth edition, the “Villa d’Este Style – Vintage Yachting” is now an unmissable event of the season, which combines elegance and lifestyle, a fairytale location and the most beautiful motorboats ever built. An exclusive moment to celebrate the great nautical tradition and admire the precious vintage runabouts, many of which are handcrafted with fine woods on the shores of this lake, fascinating enthusiasts from all over the world.
How to experience the event
Like every year, to live a unique experience on board timeless motorboats, the cultural and historical soul of the event is entrusted to the collaboration with ASDEC
(Association of Vintage and Classic Hulls – Historic Nautical Register), whose institutional purpose is to preserve and pass on the interest in these boats to
new generations, together with the Lariana Boat Museum which houses one of the most important nautical collections in the world.
The program for Sunday 21 July includes the participating boats sailing towards Cernobbio in the morning, the arrival at Villa d’Este, the group photo and mooring between 11 and 12, lunch at 1pm at the Grill restaurant in Villa d’Este and the end of the event at 4pm
The Villa d’Este Style Vintage Yachting is an experience also open to guests who are not residents of the Hotel, with limited places: more information and reservations on the website or by calling the Hotel.
