A weekend of sport, nature and friendship between Cuneo and Ferrara. The weekend of 14-16 June saw the Cuneo Dragonettes reach the Vigarano Pieve Oasis for a special meeting with the Dragonlady of the Canoa Club Ferrara. About thirty women gathered to share sporting activities and moments of conviviality, immediately establishing a beautiful understanding.

Saturday began with a visit by the Dragonettes of Cuneo to the splendid city of Ferrara. In the afternoon, the group ventured on a fascinating Canadian tour in the Comacchio Valleys. On Sunday morning, at the Oasis of Vigarano, on the boats of the dragoon (20 seats) and the draghino (10 seats) I

departed from the piers for a suggestive group paddle in the waters of the lake. The moment was enriched by stretching and meditation sessions, allowing everyone to relax and connect with each other and with the surrounding nature. The weekend was directed by federal canoe instructors Giorgia Minzoni from Ferrara and Fulvio Fina from Cuneo, whose guidance made the weekend unforgettable. The Dragonlady Ferrara project, started by the Canoa Club Ferrara in 2019, is an initiative that promotes physical and psychological well-being through the sport of dragon boating. Initially aimed mainly at women who have

tackled breast cancer, today involves women of all ages. The key words of the twinning were empathy, cohesion, nature, sport and laughter. The two groups said goodbye with the promise to meet again soon in Cuneo to experience new emotions together.
