Volley Market: Milan takes Ludovica Guidi from Novara

MILAN– Stefano Lavarini, new coach of Milan, will have at his disposal, in the power plants department, the thirty-two year old Tuscan Ludovica Guidi coming from a season in Novara.

THE CARREER-

Guidi, born in Cecina in 1992, began his professional career in the 2009/2010 season at Donoratico in Serie A2. In the 2010/2011 season she was signed by Volley Fontane in Serie B2, while in the following season she played for Casciavola in B1, the same category where she played for the 2012/2013 championship wearing the San Mariano Volley shirt. Her debut in Serie A1 came in the 2013/2014 season with the Robur Tiboni Urbino shirt; the following year she flew across the Alps to play in Ligue 1 with Evreux Volleyball. She returned to Italy the following season with the colors of Golem Software Palmi, in Serie A2, where she remained for two years, before moving to Millenium Brescia in the 2017/2018 season: halfway through the championship she then landed in Cuneo. She also played in the second national series in the 2018/2019 season, signed by Soverato, continuing her adventure in A2 in the following two seasons with the Olimpia Teodora Ravenna shirt. For the last three seasons she has returned to the fields of the top national category respectively with Casalmaggiore (2021/2022), Scandicci (2022/2023) and Novara (2023/2024).

The powerhouse has raised a CEV Challenge Cup in his career, won last year with Novara, and a CEV Cup in the 2022/2023 season with the Scandicci shirt.
