Twice at Carrarese, first as a player and then as a manager. The name of Fabrizio Anzalone it is therefore linked to the Apuan club, which recently celebrated its promotion to Serie B after the victory in the playoffs (with the final which saw the Tuscan triumph over Vicenza), and above all after 76 years from the first and only appearance in the cadet series. Exclusively to TuttoMercatoWeb.com, this is the manager’s comment on the Azzurri’s season:

“I am really happy for the clear and well-deserved success of Carrarese, a victory that is the result of a technical and sporting program that began a few years ago and was conducted with vision, ability and competence. Particular praise goes to the owners who have guaranteed reliability and credibility by offering something extraordinary for a city very attached to its team”.

Let us remember in the meantime that Anzalone’s adventure with the yellow-blue shirt began on 6 August 2010, in the then Lega Pro Seconda Sicurezza, and ended in 2012, when the 1978-born player moved to Pistoiese: 66 appearances and 5 goals, this is his ‘trademark’ as a player. And then the second step, that of manager: in December 2016, in fact, he took on the role of transfer man in the Carrarese of president Salvo Zangari. An affection that never died down for the club.
