There tenth edition of Corti Cosenza Yes is concluded in the Gullo Hall of the Casa delle Culture with the awarding of creative writing projects and short films both created by the students who took part in the workshops. The city councilor delegated to Urban Agenda and the historic center participated in the awards ceremony, representing the Municipality of Cosenza Francesco Alimena and his colleague Antonietta Cozzadelegate for Culture.
In a literally packed room, awards were given for creative writing to: first place ex aequo Antonio Rovito of the B. Telesio high school with the story “Why I can’t fly” and Francis
Eugenio Cozzaalso from the B. Telesio high school, with the story “Serafino, lost at sea”; second place Federico D’Andrea of the Iti Monaco with the story “The journey of consciousness: dialogue with an elegant mouse”; third place ex aequo Emanuele Pasquale Levato by Valentini-Majorana with the story “The destroyer of dreams” and Sofia Marino from the GB Scorza high school with the story “Between notes and obsessions”.
Critics’ Award to Isabella Farina of the B. Telesio high school with the story “I start again from you”. For the short films the following were awarded: “Escape” from the 2nd and 4th C classes of the B. Telesio high school; “The immortality of art” by the E. Fermi scientific high school and “Beauty smells of freedom” by the Iti Monaco.
“With the awarding of the students who participated in our workshops – says the artistic director of Corti Cosenza True Secretspresident of the Teatro in note cooperative which organizes the event – We conclude this tenth edition which is very important for us. The boys and girls girls, once again, have shown us that it is enough to stimulate them to know their great creative flair”.
“For ten years with Corti Cosenza we have been entering the schools of the province to speak to students and help them find the best way to express their art. We have it also done in this tenth edition which had as its theme “Art and music between beauty and creativity”.
