The Mayor of Mazara, Salvatore Quinci, appoints the new council and assigns councilor powers

After the installation of the reconfirmed Mayor Salvatore Quinci who effectively inaugurated the second consecutive administrative mandate, the new municipal council appointed with union resolution n. 79/2024.

The new councilors were sworn in this morning by the Mayor himself and the General Secretary Salvatore Pignatello. With the oath, the councilors are officially placed in their duties. These are the composition and attribution of delegations of the municipal council chaired by Mayor Quinci:

Mayor Quinci has appointed councilor Vito Billardello as deputy mayor and has currently retained for himself the delegations regarding: Taxes, Personnel, Community Policies, Fisheries, Environmental Sustainability and Renewable Energy, Welfare and Inclusion, Public Education, Urban Decor and Public Green, Relations with the City Council, Infrastructure and Civil Protection, Environment.

The 5 councilors appointed today are those indicated by the Mayor when presenting his candidacy and the lists supporting him.

Mayor Quinci expressed his best wishes to his councilor team and reserved the right to appoint the other two members of the Municipal Council subsequently with a further deed.
